Judicial Family Support Program in Puerto Rico
The mission of the Judicial Family Support Program Puerto Rico is to provide orientation and support to the members of the judiciary and their family members in a clear, agile and sensible manner in order to facilitate their integration into the judicial life.
This Program focuses on providing orientation to judges’ family members regarding the ethical and practical aspects of their lives as a spouse, son, daughter or close relative of a member of the judicature. It helps them to understand the importance of the job performed by the judicature in a democratic system in a manner that they may feel proud of their job and may be able to better understand the adjustments family members have to make some times. In addition, the Program provides an opportunity for the family members of the members of the judicature to get to know each other and to relate to each other serving as mentors to new judges.
